Dues are $35.00 per year.
Dues are not tax deductible and are due after membership is approved.
COMMITTEE DESCRIPTIONS
Communications • Handles internal and external communication • Maintains email lists and mailing campaigns • Coordinates press releases and media relations
Membership/Outreach Committee • Clean up voter database • Recruits and maintains volunteer list • Works closely with event and fundraising teams • Organize membership drives • Ensure smooth onboarding process for new members • Building the MCCDBC membership • Black Voter Outreach • Fosters a sense of community among volunteers
Social Media • Work closely with communications team to develop then implement approved communications plans • Collaborates with other teams to promote events and initiatives • Develop and create social media content across multiple social media platforms
Political Action • Identifies and communicates proposed bills and ballot measures for membership review and potential action • Advocates for Black Caucus-endorsed candidates and policies • Promotes civic engagement and social justice
Voter Registration • Coordinating voter registration drives across Montgomery County • Educates members on voter rights and regulations • Collaborates with other organizations to increase voter turnout
Event Committee ● Coordinates the participation of PAMCCDBC in Executive Committee-approved community events across Montgomery County ● Sets up PAMCCDBC booth to hand out Black Caucus educational and promotional materials ● Collaborates with other teams to promote events and initiatives
Finance Committee • Coordinates fundraisers across the county on behalf of the Black Caucus • Develops creative and effective fundraising strategies • Ensures financial stability for the organization
Criminal Justice Action • Advocates for criminal justice reform and police accountability • Promotes restorative justice practices
